The 10 Funniest Movie Credits Of All Time

Funny Site of the Day -- We won't split hairs with these Super Tremendous selections, promising to be "The 10 Funniest Movie Credits of All Time." It's an amusing group of videos by most standards, including clean and raunchy material, mostly of the bloopers variety. The films represented are "Talladega Nights," "Coming to America," "Monty Python and the Holy Grail," "Cannonball Run," "Toy Story 1 & 2," "Rush Hour," "This Is Spinal Tap," "Liar Liar," "The Nutty Professor" (Eddie Murphy), and "Grumpy Old Men."

The Recurring Prop Newspaper

Funny Site of the Day -- Something fascinating, found at /Film:

If you watch enough television shows and movies, then you might even start to notice that a bunch of the same props are used over and over again. ... Someone on Reddit recently put together a compilation of photos from various television shows, commercials and movies, showing how one newspaper prop gets around and is reused, and reused again.

Notice the photos included here to illustrate the collection. Actor Ed O'Neill reads the same news on "Married ... With Children" and many years later on "Modern Family."

Speculation is the recycled newsprint has become an insiders' joke and will be as timely tomorrow and next year and the following decade. I'd just like to read the comics section.

Wall of Shemp

Funny Site of the Day -- Old reliable comic master Shemp Howard is the topic of this loving fan site devoted to the first and third 3rd Stooge, bookending the tenure of his brother Jerry "Curley" Howard in the knockabout slapstick movie team, The Three Stooges, also featuring Larry Fine and other sibling Moe Howard..

The highlights here include The Photo Album, The Soothing Sounds of Shemp, The Shemp Meditation Tape, and Poke-A-Shemp.

Visit today. The curator is spending six bucks per month to share some Shemp.

Steve Martin in 'The Absent-Minded Waiter'

Funny Site of the Day -- In 1977, during the phenomenal popularity of the stand-up comedy by Steve Martin, the performer took time from his gushing stardom to write and headline in this 7-minute short subject about a totally mental food server. The project received little distribution from Paramount Pictures, but it eventually became Steve's secret weapon concert warm-up, shown before he took the stage.

Prominent actors Buck Henry and Teri Garr add comic heft as the bumbler's diners.

I know you "are expecting a professional waiter. So, here we go...."

'A Small Announcement - as Told Through Science Fiction'

Funny Site of the Day -- When it rains, it pours. We've featured several "Star Wars" items this week, so how about one more before moving along?

Found on YouTube:

Jennifer and Jeff have something they wanted to share with everyone ... and because analogies make things easier and Jeff is an admitted Star Wars dork ... we thought this might be appropriate ... Thanks!

Psssst ... There's going to be a "Star Wars" baby or two!

"The Fastest and Funniest LEGO 'Star Wars' Story Ever Told"

Funny Site of the Day -- Most people would probably agree the original "Star Wars" trilogy is an amazing spectacle, but most of them probably haven't seen the same tale told in two minutes and LEGOs!

Watch and listen to some blockhead kid "with one heck of a LEGO collection."

That's incredible!

'Seinfeld' Horror Trailer

Funny Site of the Day -- We didn't start out to have a "Seinfeld" weekend, but the bits just keep on coming, as seen in this frightful spoof of the modern horror film genre, mashed-up with reedited footage from a certain sitcom.

No one is safe while a serial Kramer is on the loose.

'Seinfeld' Movie Trailer: 'George'

Funny Site of the Day -- Here's one of those TV sitcom coincidences occurring in real life. I featured "Daily Seinfeld" less than 24 hours ago and now this new "Seinfeld" movie trailer has splashed itself across my monitor.

And it's just not right. Comic schlub George Costanza's life has been recut into a fuzzy, Hollywood drama.

--*Gasp!* "George" might even be a chick flick!

Add schmaltzy music to cleverly reedited "Seinfeld" footage with Jason Alexander and Heidi Swedberg as Susan, and you have an emo weepfest.

Add a red nose and it might even be "Patch Adams 2!"

Nahhh, but we can scream, cant we?
